Client: SportRadio is the broadcast partner for talkSPORT in English and Arabic languages across the Middle East; and the exclusive global audio partner of the English Premier League, providing coverage of English Premier League matches.
Role: Created a logo for an online radio station that focused on sports news that is also available in the Arabic language that targets the Middle East audience. The logo was used for the website, app icon, web banners, social media posts, and media kits.
Logo Anatomy:

1 – The “sport radio” typeface is Gotham Bold, a font that was born in 2000 when men’s fashion magazine GQ commissioned New York-based Hoefler & Frere-Jones to create a new typeface for use in their publication. The heavy weight of the font illustrates boldness and authority which depicts the concept of the broadcaster.
2 – The “( )” symbolizes the signal icon, which reflects the radio signal that emits sounds from a station to broadcast anywhere in the world.
3 – The “( • )” illustrates the head of a person, an avid fan raising their hands in the air. The “d” depicts the human body.
4 – Colours:
- Green – growth, and freshness
- Blue – integrity, authority, and success
- Red – passion, energy, and dynamic
